Sats’N’Art is an innovative project that merges the creative world of Art with the power of decentralized tech:
Bitcoin, Lightning and nostr.

By hosting talented artists, we aim to transform their creations into physical exhibits that engage with audiences, both in-person and globally online, building a unique interactive experience. We’ll also enable the SATS’N’FACTS Unconference attendees to connect with artists, get inspired by their work, and support them in a borderless, decentralized manner through zaps and community voting.

With the goal to inspire developers attending our main event, we will promote and raise awareness of the emerging decentralized and censorship-resistant technologies that will revolutionize and incentivize free markets and free speech worldwide! Are you ready?

Local and international artists, together with the unconference participants, will create artwork during our SATS’N’FACTS event in Chiang Mai. Artists are not expected to participate IRL at the exhibition opening at the Weave Artisan Society. Artists are responsible for the cost of transporting selected artwork and installation for exhibition that will be present at the SNF event and during the whole month afterward.

ZAP VOTE YOUR Preferred ART

Anyone will be able to upvote it’s preferred art piece by zapping on Geyser.Funds. On a dedicated page with all the artworks to be voted on by the community. The most ⚡️zapped pieces will be displayed at the Weave Artisan Society space for one month and sales will be hosted on nostr marketplace platforms like Cypher.Space, Shopstr.Store and Plebeian.Market. Artists can choose if they want to sell the art pieces or just bring them back home with them. Stay tuned, and we’ll let you know how it all works soon!

ART SUBMISSION

Submission Should Include

Artist statement, including how the submitted work fits the theme of the Exhibition “FREEDOM ART”.
Images at 300dpi, and a list with prices and sizes in a multi-page PDF or TXT file for our gallery committee to review. Please label each piece of artwork with the title, medium, and dimensions.
A minimum of one and a maximum of 12 pieces should be submitted. Work must be framed and ready for installation, or submitted in digital format for printing and framing in loco (at the expense of the artist).
